STIGA CLIPPER WOOD MASTER 40th ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION

Few table tennis frames are as easy to like as Clipper Wood. The now classic, offensive frame has passed few ping pong players and was one of the first 7-pulleys in the world. And it was definitely the frame that put STIGA's 7 whistles on the map and gave rise to the now well-known "STIGA feeling". Clipper Wood was launched as early as 1981 and was unique in its wood construction. Never before had colored veneer been used in a frame.


Clipper Wood is the champions' choice. Liu Guoliang, a legendary player and the first Chinese to succeed in a Grand Slam (ie win World Cup, Olympic and World Cup gold), was one of the top users of the body during his active career. Swedish Fredrik Håkansson also played with Clipper Wood and took home both World Cup gold in teams 2000 and European Championship gold in teams 2000 and 2002. Clipper Wood is still one of our most popular frames and has sold over 2 million copies.
